Fall Fashion: 1 Jacket, 3 Ways

With fall I always like to add an new edition to my wardrobe and figure out how many ways I can wear it. Every year I am drawn to a few staples. They are my military inspired olive jacket and a moto inspired broken in leather jacket. This jacket has the perfect note of a worn in black and a dark grey, with an excellent cut.

Keep reading to see 3 ways I style this jacket for every occasion!

At the office.

For the office, I tend to take a bit more conservative note. With a smart black heel and this beautiful herringbone dress, you’ll be ready to take on any meeting and client pitch full of confidence. For a pop of color, I added my Kelly Moore work bag to add a bit more edge. If you work in a less formal work environment ditch the black heels for a wedge bootie and a pair of opaque tights.

For Date Night

When going out at night I love to stick to one color palette, style my hair a bit different, and add a heel. With this look I chose black as the overall color. With the leather jacket, it’s easy to add a bit of edge and a lovely juxtaposition of soft lace inlay on the dress and the metal finishes on the the jacket. It’s a fun contrast of soft and hard, masculine and feminine to play with.

For the weekend

With this look, I went back to one of my favorite pairings, a great skinny jean and a drapey tee. For added interest I went with a graphic tee with some embroidery details and added some silver etched bangles and hammered ring. This brings additional texture and visual interest to the look. Perfect for brunches, the Farmer’s Market, or running around town, this look is one of my favorites to date.
