A Curious Weekend

Around here our week was full. Full of event planning, collaborations, and trying to stay ahead. This weekend will be filled with rest. Days where the days start slow, where learning and process is the norm, and we live in cashmere sweatpants. Recent, I’ve been reading the book, 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership by John Maxwell. With each chapter he unfolds a new law of leadership. The Law of Process talks about the importance of growth, exploration, and curiosity as a leader. What are new ways of thinking, education, and growing in your craft? How do you choose to learn and grow personally regardless of the season I find myself in. Below you’ll find a list of the items keeping me curious this week.

My Curiosities on the Internet Lately:

The Winter Arrivals from Sezane are absolutely stunning. If you love the street style looks you’ve been seeing from Paris fashion week and are wanting a bit of Parisian flair in your wardrobe you’ll love this company.

Need a great clean recipe resource for meal prep and weekday lunches? Head to Loveleaf for this Kale Tahini Salad recipe.

I am always inspired by the workspaces and offices of others. Next week, we’ll be sharing our creative studio makeover. This post from Wit & Delight is all about Getting all the Stuff Done from Your Office and Making It More Productive. I’ve been taking a few pointers as I finish out the space.

If you’re like me, you know that adding video to your social media marketing is necessary as Instagram and Facebook continue to favor video content in the algorithm. Video is proving it’s staying power in the content game. Jessica Stansbury talks all things DSLR settings for video if you’re not ready to make the jump to a higher end camera.

If your pantry is looking sparse, make this 10 minute pasta dish from Food52 for dinner tonight. (We’re all for skipping the grocery store on a Friday night and stretching a dollar during the month of January.)

We’re getting ready for activity and a bit of adventure, but absolutely love dessert. These Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Truffle Bars from Rachel Mansfield look amazing. Being gluten and grain free, they only use 5 ingredients.
