When Pantone released their colors for the year, I was disappointed. Let me explain. There’s something about blue and blush that is a serious 90’s throwback. With colors of cornflower and mauve throughout every corner of my childhood home, it took a bit of warming up to the idea. After putting together this little color study, I’m finding these colors not only bearable, but stunning together. Can it look effortless without looking like a baby shower? I think it can.
After this study, I’ve come to love these colors. The variations and tones provide a beautiful balance and ways I’m excited to stretch my use of color this year.
