Around here we’re in the thick of winter, and while I’m learning to embrace the beauty of the seasons, this week’s snowmageddon has me dreaming of flying to warm destinations filled with sandy beaches and a warm sea breeze. While we’re headed to Paris in April, a girl can dream, right???

In the studio
We’re ecstatic to share, we’re busier than ever. Currently, we’re in the cusp of 2 book publishing projects and working on one dream rebrand for a local business. It’s been a wild journey seeing the studio scale, bringing in double the revenue within a month. (It was a goal we had for the new year, but had no idea that it would happen so quickly.) In February, we’re working on relaunching our Instagram for Business e-course and know that the improvements to this course are going to be legendary. With the recent cleanout of bots, fake followers, and spam accounts by the app, now more than ever we love educating about the app and helping business owners leverage it for sales. Scenes from Snowmageddon
If you’ve been following along on our Instagram, the polar vortex finally hit Redding with shocking results. California climate operates in extremes. We woke up to over 10 inches of snow which left much of the city powerless and snowed in. I wish I could say that I was prepared for the disaster better after getting home last night. This morning I found myself, huddling under blankets, lighting candles, and going to outdoor storage to fetch the fuel for the camping stove. After 30 minutes with a mortar and pestle, I finally hand ground coffee and headed out to the porch to heat water on the stove. Luckily, four hours later, power was restored in our home and we were able to salvage all the food from the power loss. Our day was spent enjoying some leftovers and staying warm with some favorite recipes from What’s Gaby Cookin: Chicken Larb Bowls and Sweet Potato Chili.
