“Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.” – F. Scott Fitzgerald
I’ve always loved this quote. Past the romance of fall, the pumpkin spice everything, the crisp mountain air, or the ability to layer again. There’s something about the passing of seasons and time that forces change upon us. There are seasons where some are more challenging than the others. There are seasons that are filled with delight, joy, and triumph. This morning as I walked out to the car, there was a crispness to the air, the slight bit of chill that simply reminded me a new, fresh start was here. A new day to be brave, a moment to start over, and another opportunity to make the world a better place. What if everyday could feel this way? A fresh beginning and a moment to explore. A way to seek out refreshment for the soul?
This past year has been a wild one. One where some days you didn’t know how to stand. Yet, I can’t tell you how thankful I am for fresh starts every morning, particularly on this crisp morning in the fall.
