Monday Thoughts: Spring Flowers

With the onset of the spring season (and constant rain), I’m finding a literal shift in season as well. For the first time in a year and a half, I live with one person. Our home feels different now. As we sat at our kitchen table on Thursday night and realized it was our first time in Redding, just the two of us. This season will be short lived, but I’m learning to embrace and relish the transition. Usually my heart hates these moments. The moments where you don’t know what’s coming around the corner and bracing yourself for change. But just as the shift in the outdoor season has come, so there will always be transitions in life. Rain comes, but so do beautiful spring flowers and moments of morning light.

This week, I’m beyond excited to share with you some new content. This is a project and event I’ve been collaborating on for four months. It is one I can’t wait to share with you. The theme for the event was Spring Refresh. We wanted the night to be focused on memories and creating a culture of celebration. Every element put into the space was done with great intention. To accentuate the theme, we went with all things spring. Starting with a palette of black, seafoam, and gold, we added pops of ivory and blush throughout. Using brass thrifted candlesticks and brush lettering, we kept the event approachable yet formal.
