With the height of summer, brings living in the sun and on the water. Whether it’s relaxing by the pool, kayaking on the water, or simply heading to the coast, this summer’s trends are amazing and are worth sticking around for. This year, I was specifically looking for a few new tops to replace what I previously had worn out. In the process of looking for suits, I noticed that it’s a year where almost anything goes. There’s mesh inlays, updated black classics, ruffles, and the best pops of color.

Albion Fit: If you’re a girl who loves to do things in her swim (and are completely over worrying about things shifting), meet Albion Fit. Part sporty, part feminine, their line is amazing and I’ve loved every piece I’ve bought from them. With offerings that are true to size, their bottoms are fuller coverage and built for lake life. I’ve loved both the switchback stripe crop and their classic stripes 101 crop. For a bit of a feminine side, you’ll love their groove bella crop with ruffle straps that can be worn up or over the shoulder.
Target: With a new line at Target, there are two pieces I’ve absolutely loved this season from Shade and Shore. Offering mesh inlays, a fun early 90’s throwback and coverage (We love this look for moms who still want to look and feel young.) If you’re feeling a bit more daring, this ruffled top and bottom set is adorable and is a great take on the bikini cut.
Patagonia: Always championing ethics and sustainability, Patagonia pieces are meant to do the work. This year, they’re offering some stunning one pieces for the price and we love this reversable one that’s fully lined. With the burgundy color it will work with any skin tone, while offering options (perfect for beach trips).
And Other Stories: Over the seasons, I’ve loved the clothing from And Other Stories and was beyond excited when they announced their launch of swimwear this summer. With olive color, bandeau styling, and vintage feel, this suit gives all the Palm Springs vibes, while thoughtfully remaining under $60 for the set.
