What to Expect from Glisten and Grace in 2015

Whattoexpect_2015

Hello everyone!

After a long travel day, I’m back in the office today and couldn’t be more excited about what the new year and fresh start have to offer. As the new year begins, I wanted to share more about what you can expect here in 2015. While the blog is still in it’s first few months, I wanted to share with you some areas where I’m planning on making the blog even better than it is now. Thank you so much for your faithful readership and interest as I launched the blog.

Here are some ways that I plan on making this space more inspiring, creative, and interactive this year.

1. Get some conversations going.

You can expect a few modifications in the site design that will allow for easier commenting on specific posts. I absolutely love my readers and am excited to hear more from you. This won’t change the quality or frequency of content, as you can expect the same great stuff everyday. We will also be launching a few more social media campaigns and share more sneak peaks of day-to-day life that will continue conversations past the blog itself.

2. Building out the archives.

As I began the blog a few months ago, I was planning on building the archives on a more regular basis. With the start of the new year, I hope to expand these archives where there are rather large holes. I hope you will enjoy the additional content and will revisit the site to create some of your favorite recipes, fashion ideas, or DIYs.

3. Expect some big things.

In 2015, I have some larger projects that I’m planning on accomplishing. For readers, this means content of room makeovers, more traveling and city guides to come. I have some other big goals and aspirations that I’ll let you know about as they happen. (Sometimes secrets and surprises are even better when they happen.)

4. Discovering my true voice.

When I started the blog, I paid close attention to my writing. Over the months, this voice has gotten clouded and seemed to lack focus.  As the Christmas season came, I got caught up in creating quantities of content.  My voice seemed to get lost among the projects, recipes, and many gatherings. I want this to be a place where authentic conversations can be had, where you find inspiration, a friend that can be vulnerable and we can have heartfelt conversations, as we  journey together.  You’ll find more intention in my writing and posts, improving content, as I discover and learn my true voice. My hope is to return to the honesty, vulnerability, and authenticity that this world desperately needs.

What about you? What are some of the things you would like to see on the blog? Are there certain kinds of content that you would like to see more or less of?
