Our Holiday Decor Inspiration

Every year we deck our halls from top to bottom. This year, I’m craving simplicity and things I love more than most. Here’s the honest truth. In the blogging world it’s hard to have a minimalist heart without feeling the need to always purchase and consume. We are paid as affiliates to push the next thing or hopefully purchase something that remains on trend for multiple years in a row. (Thereby linking items appropriately.)

This year I longed to forage, repurpose, and create something beautiful without purchasing many additional items. I think more than anything I already knew how much I owned. It was time to reimagine what was already here. I already have an artificial tree, bulbs, and sprays we’ve used from year to year. Inspired by seasonal roll outs of flocked trees, white, and all the things that glisten, I chose a palette that is soft and feminine by nature. With pops of copper, crushed velvet ribbon, beaded garland, and sprigs of eucalyptus from outside, every moment of inspiration has been completed. Our house is as festive as ever (we’ll be sharing the full home tour next week!)

Sources of Inspiration: Crate and Barrel, CB2, Anthropologie, Magnolia
