The cool girl? She’s perfectly uptown. She looks always on point and always has a bit of edge. It’s the perfect heel with the ripped jean. The oversized and chunky hoop. The red nail and classic lip. When it comes to dressing for a launch party I thought I had the perfect look put together. And then the rain came and the temperatures dropped by 30 degrees within one week. So what does one wear to a launch party? (I’m learning that these are becoming the world in my professional life. One where I hope that look like the Pinterest girl full of street style. The reality? To not fall over in heels.)

Towing the look of professional and creative, we started with a favorite moto jacket in a neutral. Then on the bottom, we chose a classic- our favorite part of distressed jean. To add a touch of spring, we picked out our one of our favorite tops- a stiff lace tank with high neck and sweet button closure. To finish off the look, a chunky strappy heel, bold hoop, classic red lip, and favorite fold over clutch. To keep things effortless and simple (we had 5 hours in the car and were driving through the rain), the hair went back in a low and slightly tousled bun. The result? An editorial look that is both simple and ready for all things on camera talent.
