Happy almost 2019 everyone! When it comes to the days after Christmas, there’s the inner drive to purge through all the things. As Christmas decorations are taken down, my inner minimalism kicks in. It definitely applies to my wardrobe. When it comes to basics and dressing up, I’ve simply decided to keep a capsule and rotate styling for various holidays. When it comes to dressing up, we don’t do much of it in NorCal past weddings and holidays which can add up pretty quickly. The same applies to this New Year’s Look. Repurposing a jumpsuit from the spring, I paired it with a classic black stiletto pump. To stay warm and ready for winter, I paired a structured camel coat and buffalo plaid scarf. For accessories, I added a favorite black bag and chunky hoop earring. To continue the drama, I focused on a simple winged black eyeliner paired with a sweet buff shade of eyeshadow. Finishing the look with a favorite shade of red, it’s an amazing look for going out or those house parties in. (We’re spending our New Year in and can’t wait!)
