Spring Refresh: Behind the Scenes + Event

It’s been a fun week of sharing content with you. This event was such a fun collaboration and today I thought I would share a few behind the scenes moments and how all the details came together. It’s a bit of a casual and random collection, so I thought I would throw all the photos together in this post giving it some semblance of order.

Keep reading for all the details and behind the scenes moments!

Many mornings over the past months have been spent with coffees, a great partner in crime, and my favorite brush pen. The final result was worth it and beyond perfect. Choosing a type contrast of hand brush lettering and san serif type added the approachable formal vibe we were going for. With a touch of gold and globe string lights, the night had all the appropriate elements and looked amazing.

With spring, it meant foraging and flowers for days. Here is one of our favorite spots to go foraging. Foraging here is always an adventure and one that is worth it every time. We may have gotten in a fight with a weeping willow branch, but we won.

Speaking of foraging, I think I could be a forest fairy after all of the foraging for this event. My garage and trunk still smells of eucalyptus and I love it.

One of my favorite uses of the garland? This. It’s absolutely perfect.

Let’s get to the party.

Our evening included salsa lessons by Jaime Freed. She helped us become great (and decent) dancers and learn basic steps quickly. Needless to say the night ended in a giant dance party that we’ll never forget.

Our music entertainment for the evening was provided by Lucy DeLuna, David Blane, and Eddie Hsu. These guys are a dream team. Book them for a set and you won’t be disappointed. Everything from Adele to the Biebs was covered and it was phenomenal.

The cupcake and loose leaf tea bar was incredible. Thank you so much Mariah for all of your hard work. They were delicious!!

Photobooths are always fun and this one was no different.
