Where to Stay in Napa with Booking.com
When it comes to getaways, I always look for places that offer more of an experience than a standard hotel room. When searching through options on Booking.com, this was the first thing on my mind. I gravitate toward outdoor experiences, views, and amenities. Keeping this in mind, I immediately gravitated toward a resort and spa setting, landing on Silverado Resort. The staff at this resort was amazing and kept immaculate grounds.
Upon arriving on site, you head into the Mansion, that reminds you of days gone by with stunning finishes throughout. Then, head to the market where you can enjoy your complimentary wine tasting by the pool or their beautiful fire pits underneath the pergola. If you prefer to be a bit more active when enjoying your tasting, play their yard games of connect four, corn hole, or walk to visit the turkeys they have on site.
Most of our days in between wine tastings and meals, included enjoying reading and relaxing poolside. Here room service and cabanas were available as you enjoyed their jacuzzi and two pools. (Plenty of space for everyone!)
Our room was situated off of the mansion and offered a coffee bar, glasses for enjoying a night cap, and cozy robes. Every morning we would venture to the mansion for the complimentary coffee and tea bar and enjoyed our patio, overlooking the Japanese Cherry Blossoms and fountain in the courtyard. It was the perfect way to usher in a new day, quiet, peaceful, and stunningly beautiful.
For an active vacation.
There is plenty to do on-site. Whether you’re teeing on the Safeway Open golf course, perfecting your shot on the driving range, taking a class at the fitness center, or working on your serve at the full tennis court, the resort stay comes with plenty of active options. One of our favorites. There is a full fleet of bikes on site to rent for the day and to cycle to vineyards. Most Napa vineyards were within 10 miles of the resort, with the iconic Oxbow market only 2 miles away.
We want you on it as well! Whether you’re headed to the Valley soon or are looking for another getaway, Use this link to book your next getaway on Booking.com and get $25 off!
