What’s In My Bag: Spring in Napa Valley

Perfectly situated between the coast and central California, is iconic Napa Valley. After a year or so after the fires swept this region, we are excited to pack our bags and take the short hour drive to Napa. Springtime in Napa is the stuff dreams are made of. Grapes are starting to grow and the crowds haven’t yet started to arrive to the Valley. Heading there mid-week, our workflow found the backdrop of golden hour, enjoying wines poolside, and vines throughout the rolling hills.

When it comes to dressing in Napa, I pulled pieces I wouldn’t normally wear everyday. Life in Redding, typically means neutrals, basics, and black. Lots of black flowy tees. When pulling clothes for this collection, I picked spring favorites that stretched my comfort zone with a variety of cuts, prints, and colors. You’re in Napa, so why not? With sheer tops, flowy dresses, and spring prints, this collection says all things spring and editorial, perfect for a few days in the valley.

Look 1: Say it with pink

When it comes to all things spring, stay cool and classic with a distressed pair of denim. We love this look and adore the top. The feminine touch of pink and oversized sleeves makes the look effortless and editorial at the same time. Paired with a blazer leather jacket, the look transitions from day to night as you grab a meal at a Yountville favorite.

Look 2: Dresses and denim

When it comes to the day in Napa, make sure to wear comfortable shoes as you’re touring vineyards and will be walking on uneven surfaces. For this look we chose a low back breezy dress from Bella Dahl, a denim jacket, and floral printed bandana. When paired with a chunky hoop and smart Warby Parker sunglasses, you’re looking editorial and on-trend without much effort. For this look, we chose classic and spring’s latest – a cognac mule. Our favorite tip? Pick a bag that will hold your DSLR while still looking amazing. We love this bag from Madewell that can be worn over your arm or as a crossbody when touring a winery.

Look 3: Free and polished.

When on our last day in Napa, we decided to take a slower pace. With a favorite white blouse with a oversized and flared sleeve and flattering silhouette, this look is perfect for all things weekend in Napa. The silhouette is smart and slightly bohemian without feeling over done.
