The Perfect Thanksgiving Table

This thanksgiving I opted to go for some simple and easy touches that could completed in an afternoon. I chose a few visual elements that added a cozy and comforting feeling that is synonymous with the Thanksgiving holiday.

I decided upon a neutral color palette featuring mixed metallics-copper, grays, gold, and white. This created a curated and collected over time feel, which was emphasized in my chipped, mismatched china and the vintage book pages of my table runner (click for DIY).

I began by choosing a basic wooden box that I found at Joann’s and stained with coffee and it’s grounds. (click here for full DIY). I opted to use mini pumpkins and gourds within the arrangement as well as safari blossom and sunflowers, a personal favorite. Because I was using squashes and guards, I ultimately purchased fewer large blooms, allowing for a beautiful centerpiece on a budget.

As a final touch I added my gratitude thanksgiving placecards (click here for DIY). These added a beautiful handmade touch and one that your guests will cherish. I strongly encourage adding this special element to your table this Thanksgiving.

What are some of the ways you like to decorate your Thanksgiving table?
