Casual Friday | Vol. 7

Happy Friday everyone!

We’re starting the weekend early. Tomorrow we leave for a 7 day vacation with family. (I’m beyond excited as we’ll be reuniting for the first time since Christmas. It’s long, long overdue.) Headed to Sequoia and Yosemite National Park, I can’t wait for some fresh inspiration, stunning vistas, and lots of shoots on Taft Point. After much of the month dedicated to our site relaunch (and courses dropping next month, get on the early access VIP list here), we’re ready for a bit of a slower pace. There’s nothing better than celebrating and relaxing with family. That and seeing too little ones is the absolute best.

Here are a few links I’ve been loving on the Internet Lately:

This suit from J.Crew. I picked it up during their Memorial Day sale. I love the lower back and cross detail. You’ll find me in it poolside all summer long.

Have you been seeing the articles on Girl Boss? They’re amazing and I learn something new every time I read them I learn something new. If you’re a fellow freelancer, make sure to check out this post 6 Common Career Mistakes Freelancers Make.

I absolutely love the recipes from Half Baked Harvest. I picked up her book as apart of my Christmas and have been cooking my way through it. These cookies and her stir fry with sesame noodles are amazing. You’ll definitely want to add them to next week’s meal prep. (You’ll be thankful you did.)

A little bit of life around here. I’ve been flying as a solo team for the past year. It’s been wild and I’m thoughtfully taking steps to scale the business. One of the best tools I’ve found for mapping and tracking my funnels, is this. Meet Funnelytics. This guy is a marketer’s dream. (Particularly for those of us who are visually oriented.)

On this trip’s Reading List: Perry Marshall’s Guide to Facebook Advertising and re-reading The War of Art
